In 2021, we are piloting the first annual UCS State Bocce competition specifically for Unified Champion Schools. This invite-only event will feature schools from across the state that will compete at HealthEast Sports Center on November 4. This resource page will be updated with new information and schedules as we get closer to the tournament date.

Who can participate

UCS teams will consist of a Unified pair (one student with a disability and one student without a disability). Schools must bring at least one team and no more than five teams.  

Unified pair – two students paired up competing as one team. The pair of students need to include one athlete and one Unified partner.
Athlete – student with an intellectual disability
Unified partner – student without an intellectual disability

Equipment links

For UCS State Bocce Tournament: All equipment will be provided by Special Olympics Minnesota. Teams do not need to bring any specific equipment to the State Tournament.
